A joint-venture and more a collection of ponies rather than a proper breeding herd! The prefix is registered to Jen Bacon and Penny Beattie who bred their first Exmoor in 2015 (a lovely filly named Seomar Karoo - known as Roo - by Dunkery Nuthatch and out of Penny's Anchor Eastwind who has since returned to Winsford Hill and the Anchor Herd) but there are a number of Exmoors at the yard including Roo, Finchcroft Mabel, Anchor Gumdrop (owned by Ruth Charles) and the veteran mare Haddon Lucky. Visitors welcome by prior arrangement, please contact Jen on 07522 723234 (North Somerset) ANCHOR EXMOOR PONIES

TREKERWYS NATIVE PONIES
A family owned, non-breeding herd promoting Exmoor ponies in a wide variety of disciplines. Visitors welcome. Contact: Jenna Payne, 07837733564 or [email protected] (Cornwall). BEINNLIATH STUD
Producing quality true to type ponies with outstanding temperaments to make good all round family ponies. Youngstock occasionally for sale, although the majority of foals bred are with a purpose in mind and therefore retained. The ponies live out in small groups as close to natural conditions as an upcountry herd can, and they are part of the conservation management for several councils and wildlife trusts. Over the years the stud has been fortunate to have had many homebred multiple champions, but I get as much pleasuring hearing about ponies bred or previously owned by the stud giving their new owners pleasure be it qualifying for HOYS or going for that first hack.
